Conversations with Max

Max's stories have become more elaborate, it's so fun to listen to all the interesting things he has to say. Most of the time I can follow the thought process in the story, sometimes I cannot... nonetheless I love to watch.

Here Max tells me about his invisible (and very small) "Rexasaurus"

Maybe work, school and being a mom at the same time was a bad idea

... and I am starting to resent the cat

Wild Man Hudson Cole

Hudson has a weigh in tomorrow. This baby can't stay still long enough to gain a little weight.

Waking up is hard to do

Seems I am not the only one who feels this way

Refusing to sleep in a crib, Hudson's "bed" is a mattress on the floor. May sound weird but it works.

Sometimes it's good to be the one behind the camera

Feet

Those of you who know me well know that I an not into feet. I still don't like touching feet very much... but baby feet are a completely different story.

Get out your allen wrench

Before After
Yep, the buckets are labeled. Yep, I have a problem.

Hudson is feeling much better

but crashed on the couch

Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear bowls of chili

The bedroom still doesn't look nice enough for a photo, but I'll just tell you the new dresser looks good. There's more work to be done around here.

Why we don't use a bib

What we really need is a shower cap...
Notice there's not too much on the actual place the bib would be.

As I am tagging us in these blogs, I realize it may seem as though Hudson is being neglected. Actually, the opposite is usually true, Hudson is quite photogenic and loves having photos taken. Unfortunately he's been very sick with a virus and an ear infection and not in the photoblogging mood.
There will be more Hudson to come I promise.

Max the reader

Max loves books.
Last night he walked over to a book I was reading to Hu
dson and sounded out the word "love" out of nowhere. Tonight I thought I'd let him read a few words of our bedtime story. He sounded out the words: dog, pig, ran, fox and cow entirely on his own! We are so proud of him!
