Saturday Morning Massacre or What Happens When Mom is Not Looking

... 3 construction workers were killed today and one wounded when giant baby drowned them in Trader Joes strawberries and cream yogurt. Survivor was the only one lucky enough not to be dunked head first.

Honestly, he normally eats with a spoon but when he dropped it he thought he'd improvise.

Hudson's blocks.

Hudson amazed me with his sudden ability to stack blocks.... I think the highest he got to was 7. By the time I got the camera he was losing interest in the game. It was interesting to watch him manipulate the blocks so they would stack (one was a bridge shape) and carefully place them on top of one another... all while drinking his bottle.

Bed Head.

Max woke up with awesome hair. I had to get pictures.

Hudson's beautiful curls I am preparing myself to cut off... I keep hearing about what a darling little girl I have... for both of them actually.

Hudson loves being out side, but has to check periodically to see what he might be missing on TVGorgeous day in the Hill.

Tuckahoe Montessori School Zoo Trip

Max loved the Richmond Metro Zoo... It was a cloudy day and I was just thankful that the crowds came just as we were leaving. Max now is excited to go to the "big zoo" (National Zoo) and go see the sharks (Baltimore Aquarium) which I have promised him he will do this summer.

Riding the carousel that we had a two meltdowns about
(both wanting to get on and not wanting to get off)

Telling me all about it at home...

Making Pizza

Max enjoyed making a "pizza for daddy"

Sunny Afternoon

First an update on Maximus. He's okay; no asthma, just a "bronchial spasm" so, good news there. He gets his breathing treatment 2x a day for 2 days... and we are the proud new owners of a nebulizer. Woo-hoo.

It's been raining. A lot. The past few days have been very wet.
I dumped this 1/4 cup out yesterday. By this afternoon it was almost full again.

It was so nice to see the sun again.

So we had lunch (pancakes with entirely too much syrup)
and headed out to play...

When it was clear we had enough we headed in for a nap.

Max's asthma adventure.

Max caught a cold and then suddenly was breathing rapidly so he was taken to the doctor.
We were there for 3.5 hours and Max had two breathing treatments. He did such a great job. He sang into the nebulizer (much to the amusement of the nurse) and cheerfully volunteered his chest when it was time to check his breathing.

Max after getting home, pretty wiped out from both an eventful day and a boring one.

Max built my new house. The yellow ball is for "decoration"

"getting my nebulizer" We did this last night, at 3 am (that was fun) and after he woke up this morning (at 10!)
He's not a fan of the treatment, but he puts the Max on himself and holds it himself. Hasn't put up a fight so far.
Back to the doctor at 3:00 today. Will update.
