Happy Birthday Shakespeare!

We spent the morning at beautiful Agecroft Hall
for a lovely celebration of Shakespeare courtesy of Richmond Shakespeare Theatre.
Jeff and I will both be at Agecroft this summer for the Richmond Shakespeare Festival
in Henry V, after which, Jeff will once again be playing the title role in Hamlet.

The tulips were in bloom at the gardens... perfect opportunity for pictures!

Max and Jeff had a great time racing on the lawn.

Hudson makes this face every time he eats something. Every time.
ALMOST PERFECT!

It was 94 degrees... so by the time noon rolled around we were exhausted. We had a great time though.

We live in the most perfect spot

If you don't believe me, just look out our front door...

Max went to sleep early, but Hudson and I enjoyed the view.

Gardening

We spent most of the day out in the sun today getting our garden ready. Jeff made our little plot and Max and I potted herbs while Hudson toddled around the yard enjoying the sunshine

Some of our herbs. We planted basil, rosemary, lemon verbena, lemon basil and cilantro

Hudson was hard at work too... though I am not sure what he was up to
Avacado was finally granted his wish and we let him outside. He loved every second of it, quite literally chasing butterflies.
Inside for a nap...
and a snack...

and on our way back out again!

Birthday parties and Easter egg hunts

We had a great spring break. Max went to another birthday party... his favorite person from school, Pyper.

Hudson invented a thrilling game of throwing himself on the couch.
And Max enjoyed the Easter egg hunt in the back yard of Oma and Grandpas house
He's never eaten so much candy in his life (and hopefully never will again)

We start the garden this week from seeds... more pictures soon!

Ads for the month of April

Max is making his modeling debut in an ad for Marbles appearing in Skirt Magazine this month. (it helps when your mom both was both the photographer and created the ad)

And for fun, here's the ad I made that is coming out this Sunday in the Richmond Times Dispatch for our Spring Sale

It's 2 AM. I am going to sleep.
