Tuckahoe Montessori School Zoo Trip

Max loved the Richmond Metro Zoo... It was a cloudy day and I was just thankful that the crowds came just as we were leaving. Max now is excited to go to the "big zoo" (National Zoo) and go see the sharks (Baltimore Aquarium) which I have promised him he will do this summer.

Riding the carousel that we had a two meltdowns about
(both wanting to get on and not wanting to get off)

Telling me all about it at home...

Birthday parties and Easter egg hunts

We had a great spring break. Max went to another birthday party... his favorite person from school, Pyper.

Hudson invented a thrilling game of throwing himself on the couch.
And Max enjoyed the Easter egg hunt in the back yard of Oma and Grandpas house
He's never eaten so much candy in his life (and hopefully never will again)

We start the garden this week from seeds... more pictures soon!

Sharpie

Max took a nap in our bed since his sheets were being changed...
a sharpie was left in our room...
the rest of the story tells itself...

It's been a few days... its fading... but this may take a while.
(surprisingly, no furniture or walls were harmed during the making of this art)

Conversations with Max

Max's stories have become more elaborate, it's so fun to listen to all the interesting things he has to say. Most of the time I can follow the thought process in the story, sometimes I cannot... nonetheless I love to watch.

Here Max tells me about his invisible (and very small) "Rexasaurus"

Maybe work, school and being a mom at the same time was a bad idea

... and I am starting to resent the cat

Waking up is hard to do

Seems I am not the only one who feels this way

Refusing to sleep in a crib, Hudson's "bed" is a mattress on the floor. May sound weird but it works.

Sometimes it's good to be the one behind the camera
